The Practice
Usui Reiki energy healing is a soothing, gentle transfer of universal energy through the practitioner to the client.
In my practice, I play soothing music, use gentle lighting, use aromatherapy, and provide a warm, healing atmosphere. My treatments cost $55 ifor a 1-hour consultation and treatment.
Step 1 is an interview with the client on the reason for seeking Reiki energy. Step 2 is full disclosure of the need for medical attention for serious illness. Step 3 is the Reiki energy itself. In Step 4, I ask the client for feedback; and I provide recommendations for future sessions or follow up.
The Teaching
Learning Reiki is part of a spiritual path. Following the path is not to be taken lightly. Once a student embarks on the path, life becomes a more glorious, fulfilling experience in service to others. Reiki practitioners also must take care of themselves by practicing self-Reiki daily--only by taking care of yourself can you spread the light of Reiki.
Reiki is 'taught' by a Reiki Master. There are 3 levels of Reiki plus the Reiki teacher training itself.
Reiki 1 costs $125 and takes 4 hours. In Reiki 1 training, I discuss the history of Reiki, ask participants to share their experiences and reasons for wanting to use Reiki, pass the Level 1 Attunement, and provide supervised practice. Participants leave with a notebook of materials.
Reiki 2 costs $225 and takes about 3 hours. I discuss additional ways to use Reiki, demonstrate the 3 Reiki symbols including the one for distance Reiki, pass the Level 2 Attunement, and provide supervised practice. Additional materials are added to the notebook I provided in Level 1 training.
Reiki 3 practitioner training (Master Level) costs $250 and takes about 2 hours. Students learn more Reiki methods, receive the Reiki Master symbol, receive the Level 3 Attunement, and practice. More materials for the notebook, too.
Reiki 3 practitioner/teacher training (Master Level) costs $325 and takes about 3 hours. Students learn everything from the Reiki 3 level, receive the 'protection' symbol, and learn how to pass attunements.
My Reiki Practice for Non-Human Companion Animals
The life force is within all of us. But sometimes, the force is interrupted, and dis-ease can occur. Diet, exercise, age, stress, and the environment affect your pet’s energy. Reiki Healing Energy is a way to balance the energy and strengthen the life force. Reiki is NOT a substitute for veterinary care.
Reiki is a universal healing life force energy. Energy is everywhere. I use the universal energy for healing. Reiki energy healing is a soothing, gentle transfer of universal energy to your pet. I make house calls in southern Sussex County. When I make an appointment, I will ask some background questions to prepare for my visits. When I arrive, I interview the human family who is responsible for the animal to gain insight on the animal’s overall condition, diet, environment, and needs. Next I meet the animal and perform gentle healing touch for about 30 minutes, sometimes using soothing music and aromatherapy. Before I leave, we all meet again to review the session and determine next steps.
Each house call costs $40.
